Common questions

How do I learn the rules?

Choose Learn to Play on the home screen, or open it any time from Settings. It walks through sowing, relays and captures on the real board.

Why can't I play a hole with one seed?

In Intjuba, every move must start from a hole holding at least two seeds. If a player has no such hole after a move finishes, that player loses.

What is the AI Assistant?

An optional helper, switched on in Settings, that suggests a move and explains why. Using it during a Journey turn makes that Journey ineligible for the Ultimate Elder title.

How does the Journey of the Elders work?

You face seventeen elders in order, on bigger boards and against stronger play as you go. Beat all seventeen to earn the title of Elder. Your progress is saved on your device.

Do I need Game Center?

No. Every mode plays fully without signing in. If you are signed in to Game Center, your achievements and leaderboard scores are reported there.

How do I reset my statistics?

Go to Settings → Statistics → Reset Statistics. This clears the statistics stored on this device.

How do I play on Apple TV?

Use the Siri Remote: swipe or press to move between holes, press the centre to play a move, and press Back (Menu) to leave a screen.
